Description charles mingus tijuana moods on 180g import lp from speakers corner when this lp was released in 1962 it was honored with the maximum number of stars that downbeat the most famous of all jazz magazines could award. It was reissued in 1986 on cd as new tijuana moods with four additional alternate takes. All songs were composed by mingus except flamingo.

The original tijuana moods is identical to this album with the exception that this one contains an additional track. Tijuana moods comes after two great charles mingus hits like pithecanthropus erectus and the clown although it wasn t released until a few years after being recorded.
